Exchange Rate Progeny Dominating Woodbine Results

What a great weekend for the stallion Exchange Rate at Woodbine. I published an article in the most recent edition of Down The Stretch regarding the Three Chimney's stallion and his daughter Juliet's Spirit did not disappoint winning the Ontario Debutante Stakes by a head on Saturday afternoon. Juliet's Spirit covered six furlongs in 1:10.17 using a stalking trip behind early fractions of 21.82 and 44.54, before charging to the lead and holding off a brisk challenge from After The Applause.

The win improves Juliet's Spirit to a perfect three for three to match another Exchange Rate progeny - Southern Exchange - in staying undefeated here at Woodbine. Another Exchange Rate filly, C Karma, did well to finish third after being blocked in the stretch and having to regroup. Add C Karma to your watch list.

As for Southern Exchange, this article states that the colt may turn to the Del Mar Futurity on September 3rd for his next race. A potential Breeders' Cup Juvenile start is not out of the question if all goes well.
