Footballers Getting A Kick From Horse Embryo Treatment

Recently a number of stories have popped up in the British media regarding injured footballers receiving horse-embryo treatment. Stars such as Arsenal's Robin van Persie and Liverpool pair Glen Johnson and Yossi Benayoun have apparently received doses for lingering issues.

It's a bit of an oddity and you can read up on the details in this story from the TimesOnline.

So much for the magic sponge treatment, eh?

One wonders if this bit of "therapy" will become common for North American athletes.
