Queen's Plate day has finally arrived and I'll be at Woodbine this afternoon taking photos, asking questions and Twittering...Tweeting...whatever live from the paddock. As well, Aex Brown will be at the track taking photos and posting live updates and photos via TwitPic throughout the day.
It is a beautiful, sunny day here in Toronto and the racing conditions should be fast and yielding. (We had plenty of rain yesterday softening up the turf course.) For those of you looking for a Queen's Plate horse, please check out my Queen's Plate Horse-by-Horse Review. While I have high hopes for Eye of the Leopard, I do believe there's a very good chance of an upset in the Plate - or at the very least a generous exactor.
Woodbine is also offering it's brand new Turbo Charged Pick Six with a guaranteed $150K minimum. Race six (Post Time 3:21PM EST) will mark the beginning of the new Pick Six pool.
There are two other sensational Stakes races going this afternoon including the Highland Stakes and the Singpsiel Stakes. The Highlander is a 6F turf sprint featuring the speedy Mr. Nighlinger, while a short field of six will contest the Singspiel where Spice Route is the early favourite.
Enjoy Plate Day everyone! I'll be online at the track from 12PM onward.

Looking forward to it Keith, I'll be betting on Mr Foricos Two U
Mr. Foricos was the popular pick in the press box.
I bet that "Mr." does not go to the lead at the Prince of Wales - our second leg of the triple crown.
